What to Expect

My goal is to capture a wide variety of shots that best showcase your personality. I offer a relaxed, pressure-free environment. I want to capture you at your most natural and spontaneous moments. 

The complete session fee is due at the time of your booking. Payment plans available for invoices over $1000

After Our Session: You will be able to choose your images via your online proofing gallery, which will be valid for 30 days. A $25 fee will be charged to re-post galleries for an additional 7 days.

Step 1: Choose your favorite 15 digital images (per hour) Additional images can be purchased for $15 each.
I heard your camera clicking hundreds of photos, will I get every one of them?
No, I upload the very best images from your session which is approximately 1 per minute of photography. Your proofs will be ready for viewing in approx. 1-3 days. I will email you a link to view your proofs and choose your favorites.
Step 2:  Processing/ Editing
Next, I Creatively Process, Edit, Enhance, Re-touch, etc. This takes long hours to do and I strive to create the very best I can for you. This is what you are investing in. It will take approximately 1-4 weeks to work on your collection. 
Step 3: Download your images
Lastly, your High Resolution images can then be downloaded for free via your online gallery or purchased on a flash drive which is the best option for storing and keeping your images backed up as I DO NOT BACK UP YOUR IMAGES. You will be able to print them anywhere but for the best quality and to be sure they are printed the way they have been edited, I recommend ordering thru one of my print labs.  I do not give/sell unedited work.
IMPORTANT  Your collection will be up for viewing for 30 days only. Once it expires there will be a $25 fee to re-post your collection for an additional 7 days.
I reserve the right to use any and all images. It is illegal and rude to copy, take, re-edit, steal, save, paste or display my work that you have not purchased or have not had verbal or written permission to do so. 
What Should I Wear:
A question I get a lot is “what should we wear?” And why shouldn’t you ask!? After all these will be cherished memories and you would like to look good in them. I think the most important thing I can say when picking an outfit is ‘Be Yourself’. It is easy to wear all white or all of another color (and there is nothing wrong with that if you go that route) but you want to take a step back and make sure your outfit reflects who you are. Pick 3 colors and add texture to your outfit by layering with scarves, jewelry, bow tie, cardigans etc. Color is good. Patterns are great. It’s okay to mix and match a bit. You can mix stripes, plaids and even polka dots – gasp! Have fun with it, just be you! 
What if it rains or I need to cancel:
Weather plays a large role in a photographers life. Should the weather not cooperate with our session date and time you will be given the option to reschedule your session with no penalty. Please note weather cancellations are at the discretion of Jen Jensen Photo. If you need to cancel your session for personal reasons, please do so at least 24 hours prior to the session time. Failure to give notice of a cancellation will result in a non-refundable retainer.
Style:
What type of photography do you do?
Jen describes her style as  Simple, candid and fun. She works hard to capture those priceless moments in a non-intrusive way.  Jen will not make you pose but rather let the personalities come through and capture people as they are. She prefers to capture them laughing, smiling, gazing and enjoying the day. She offers a great balance of a photo-journalistic and classic approach to photography. The photo-journalistic approach means that she will photograph moments as they unfold however in regards to weddings, she recommends she have at least one hour (or more!) alone with both the bride and groom to create those gorgeous photographs for their wedding album. 
Legal Stuff:  

• All images are the exclusive copyright and property of Jen Jensen Photo. Large format prints should be ordered direct from the photographer. Portrait session images may not be reproduced, altered or published without permission. Copyright infringement is unlawful. The images from photo sessions may be used for my marketing purposes, They may also be used in various print and advertising materials at the discretion of Jen Jensen Photo and its owners. By submitting your session fee and participating in your session you agree to these terms and conditions.
• Parties being photographed must be dressed, made up and prepared at the exact designated start time. Sessions will begin and end promptly as scheduled. Jen captures the “essence” of you and your children; the finer details (combed hair, clean faces, jewelry etc.) are your responsibility.
• No altering of photographs/files is allowed….such as turning them black and white or working on them in photoshop or applying instagram filters.
• All clients are asked to agree to our contract when booking their session.
